Client: Peninsula Private Hospital

Queensland based, Peninsula Private Hospital is a part of the Australia’s leading private hospital network – Healthscope. Peninsula Private Hospital has been providing healthcare services to the Redcliffe Peninsula community for over 30 years.

The 70 patient-bed private hospital, situated in Kippa Ring, provides medical, surgical and rehabilitation healthcare services. The Peninsula Private Hospital through the dynamic leadership of Business Development Manager Alyson McMahon plays an active role in engaging with the local community.

Brief:

As a part of the community engagement strategy the Peninsula Private Hospital sponsors a series of “Fun Runs” and community events to engage staff and also community members and promote the services at the hospital.

As a part of the activation of the sponsorship the hospital looked to give individual participants a take home gift that would be useful and live on after the event and provide a great branding opportunity for the hospital.

Secondary to the event give away’s, the hospital wanted to provide a uniform for all the staff participating in the events that we comfortable, practical and provided great branding in the Healthscope colours.

The hospital was keen to purchase in bulk across the series of events however we conscious of storage space and were looking for ways to have the economic pricing but no storage.

Solution:

Red Tomato and Alyson from Peninsula Private Hospital had several discussions about the demographics of the participants attending the events and what had worked well in the past.

From there we selected some items that were suitable for the regular fun run participants through, casual charity supporters that were all produced with the Peninsula Private Hospital logo and tag line.

  • Backpack – Duffle Bags
  • T-Magnets with clips
  • Gel Hot/Cold Packs

The uniforms options were a game of trial and error to try and match the Healthscope Teal, we finally selected a Nike Dri -Fit Polo and a Sporte Leisure Cap that were both comfortable and stylish.

Results:

The feedback from the client was great, the participants loved the bottles and gel packs, the staff looked great and felt great. All the giveaway products were snapped up super quickly at the events attended so far.

Red Tomato were able to work with the suppliers to stagger the deliveries to hit the event deadlines.
